Administrator (with Career Progression)
We are looking for young (or young at heart), energetic, committed and eager to learn individuals to join our team as an Administrator with intention of progressing to become a Careers Advisor.
We are looking for an individual who has very strong English, Maths, IT and communication skills.
Applicants must have minimum of GCSE grade B in both English and Maths and must be a university graduate . IT competency (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint) is a must be. Must be presentable, confident in talking to people, have good eye on detail and must have professional approach. You will be dealing with customer on 1-2-1 basis and provide them information, advice and guidance. You are required to improve yourself and get new knowledge and gather resources so you can provide better service to your clients.
Opening hours: Mon-Fri 9:30am – 6:00pm and Sat 10:00 – 2:00pm (one off each month)
Salary: £22,000 – £26,000+ per annum.
Ideally, the candidate to live locally or within 60 minutes travelling distance. Please consider commuting distance before applying.
Responsibilities and Duties
As a careers adviser you will:
- assess clients’ abilities, interests and achievements
- find learning and work opportunities
- use careers information and resources
- make decisions that suit their life and their circumstances
- look at available training and work options
- make a plan of action for achieving their aims, and give them support as they carry it out
- developing working relationships with employers, colleges, universities and training providers
- keeping up to date with occupational and labour market information
- support training department and employability learners when required
- updating records and completing other administration tasks
Qualifications and Skills
- Level of written and verbal English must be excellent
- Having A-Level in English or Maths will be an advantage
- Must be university graduate
- Touch typing will be an advantage

Office Administrator
We are a leading training, careers advice and examination centre located in Islington and operating for the last 24 years. We are looking for young (or young at heart), energetic, presentable, eager to learn individuals to join our team as a Office Administrator.
We are looking for an individual who has strong English, Maths & IT skills ( preferable to have A-Level English and/or Maths ). IT competency, Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint, is a must be. Must be presentable and have professional approach, as you will be interacting with customers at the front-end and you will be the face of the company. University graduates are preferable due to the nature of the company.
Applicants must have a good eye on detail, organised and have strong people and communication skills. You will be required to answer phones, write reports, do market research, help clients/learners and support our career advisors and tutors with their provision delivery.
There may be an opportunity for training and progression depending on the position.
Salary: £22,000 – £26,000

Administrator (must have EXCELLENT Maths Skills)
Intech Centre is a training, careers advice and examination centre operating since 1999. We are based in Islington and currently looking for well-educated, confident and eager to learn individuals to join our team as an Administrator / Functional Skills Maths Tutor.
Applicants must have very strong Maths, English & IT skills (Must have at least Maths A-Level). IT competency, Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint, is a must be. Must be presentable and have professional approach, as you will be interacting with customers on daily basis, track their progress, motivate them, keep record of their learning and provide support. University graduates are preferable due to the nature of the company.
Applicants must have a good eye on detail, organised and have strong people and communication skills. You will work as an Administrator to help our Training Department. There will be opportunity to do training to become a qualified tutor if you do not have teaching qualification. You will be required to give information to customers, carry out enrolment, complete the learner folders and ensure folders are always audit ready, track learner activity, progress and support learners after starting a teaching qualification.

Internship / Voluntary Position
We are looking for an individual who can help us with the delivery of our services including Careers Advice, Training Department and Administrative Team. You will be working with the experience to deliver the services and will be responsible from providing support to learners and helping with enrolment and the admin work.
Applicants must have EXCELLENT communication and IT skills. Written English must be excellent! Please show how good your English in your application. You will be part of a team who is running English, Maths, IT and Employability provisions. You will have opportunity to work with other departments, depending on your skills and knowledge, and learn.
If you a have skill gap, we will help you to train internally.

Please note! This is a voluntary / internship position and unpaid. Applicants must have excellent written English.
We will provide a reference letter to successful individuals at the end of the internship and if there is any paid position available, interns will have higher chance of getting the job.
